What To Wear on the First Day of Class

We know you're struggling with what to wear on the first day of class. You're girlfriend (or girls that are friends) have plenty of options and have probably known what they're going to wear for...who knows how long. On top of that, they have plenty of options. You on the other hand, may not.

Not everyone has the same style and we understand that. Not everyone wants to wear a shirt and tie, and we understand that (in fact, we don't recommend it). Don't worry, these outfits weren't made for you to copy, but more so for inspiration.

Side note: Avoid copying outfits to the "T" at all costs unless it works. What looks good on someone else probably won't look good on you too.

There's only one way to give a good first impression, and that's by making a good first impression shoe-wise. The saying about judging a man by his shoes is not a fable, but a truth.

Live like the French with breton stripes, a classic pattern that goes a long way and looks sharp. If you want to go more casual, or "Bad Boy" as some may call it, wear distressed denim instead or rip a few holes in them yourself.

Your new favorite genre of style that you've never heard of: Smart Casual. By 'smart', we mean you look like you know what you're doing. Of course, you're still casual though. Polos, cotton chinos, lifestyle sneakers are your best friends when it comes to smart casual.
