Khaki Time

"I don't wear suits in the summer, its too hot"

Once you're introduced to the unstructured blazer, you're outlook on getting dressed in the summer will definitely change. In this post I talked about how important fabric is when you'll be getting dressed this summer. Now I feel like you're ready to go a step further. That next step is the unstructured blazer.

Do you see that shiny material and those weird lines in your suit jacket? Can you feel the padding in the shoulders that make them look broader? Take it all out and you have an unstructured blazer.

Ok, don't rip it out just yet. Hypothetically if you did then you'd have yourself an unstructured blazer. Luckily, clothing brands (like H&M, the brand that I'm wearing) has done that for you. This all makes the jacket much lighter and comfortable for the spring and summer months!

This lavender flower lapel pin from Harrison Blake Apparel is one of my favorite accessories for the summer in my favorite color of the summer! When wearing a khaki blazer, feel free to play with color as you like. I decided to play with patterns as opposed to color in this look.
